Moving, navigating, and emerging hungry within an alien carnivorous bog. With glowing hair, much as the edges of the traps, she remains a lure. A bent and wet wing she wades in symbols of living with one’s damages, treading among the Venus.

Olivia Di Gregorio is a painter based in Toronto, featuring mythical figures in dream-like landscapes throughout her work. Her images look to mythology for inspiration, with fairies and elements of magic to explain a healing shift from one state into another as a form of visual escapism and survivalism. Olivia was selected as a finalist in the Beautiful Bizarre Magazine Art Prize in the traditional art category for 2021, and has since exhibited her paintings internationally, published in Booooooom’s ‘Tomorrow’s Talent Vol. II’ curated art book, and featured in Supersonic Art.
