About the Artist:
Jesús Aguado, 1976 Valladolid, Spain.
More than 15 years as an editorial illustrator. He has worked with a multitude of Spanish publishers and around the world. Children’s and youth books, posters, illustrated album, didactic material, advertising campaigns and so on. His work has always been digital but 5 years ago he became interested in the world of analog painting. Real brushes and acrylic. 2018 was the year he began to show his works on social networks.
In contrast to the formal impositions of publishers, his universe became surreal. Images that are born from a formal world and that are transformed into dreams that break the rules of nature. In many cases the Renaissance beauty is impregnated with the darkest baroque. Atavistic beings in delirious situations. His style is transformed every year, his theme also and never, never, will stop painting.
