About the Artist:

I work as a freelancer alongside my pug sidekick Mildred in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

My chosen mediums are watercolour and gouache. My painting style and techniques are somewhat unconventional as I was never formally trained, I instead have a background in jewellery design and manufacture.

I love whimsy and have an obsession with fine detail, I’ve always been drawn to the antiquated and in particular vintage imagery, my work also often references the natural world, botany and natural history.
