There was a favorite childhood maple tree that I used to visit every full moon, even on the coldest nights. The moon would bathe each branch with bits of pale light. Underfoot became even more mysterious, with small gullies transforming into deep chasms. – Rachael Pease

Rachael Pease is an internationally exhibited landscape artist and envoy of nature. Her work documents real trees and locations, yet is woven with strings of fantasy and memory.
Rachael was born in Indiana and started drawing from the age of 8. She went on to earn her MFA from the University of Pennsylvania. She has lived and worked coast to coast within the USA- NYC to LA. Her work has been featured in HiFructose and My Modern Met and can be found in a variety of collections including The Resnick and The Swizz Beatz (Dean). She is currently based in a new studio in Chipping Norton, UK.
