“I was engaged with this image for many months before finally creating it. I’m drawn to creating ordinary objects in extraordinary perspectives. Perspectives that command my attention and curiosity. I like to think that anyone – anything, can shine in the right perspective; even an image of torn paper surrounded by it’s adoring creatures.” – J. L. King

Jennifer L. King was born from artist parents whose artistic lifestyle left lasting impressions. She pursued a career in health and science, while maintaining her creative practice in different mediums and ultimately committing her focus on oil painting. Sharp-focus detail is a lifelong endeavor that she pursues to this day and she is inspired by the idiosyncrasies in nature and it’s resilient creatures and beings. Jennifer practices her art in her South Of Market studio in San Francisco, California.
