About the Artwork:
“This piece is from when I began to formulate the realization in the nature of the universe. Non-Duality, Universal Consciousness, Universal Reconciliation, etc. the concept has many names. The ultimate truth that we are all one being, and of separateness being an illusion to see through, is the concept that inspires and fuels my work. My work is a practice of devotion to further gain insight into this reality. My work is a practice of expression of the reality that I believe is there, past the illusory. We all instinctively know this to be true, from the lyrics “life is but a dream”, to the philosophers dreaming of being a butterfly, to the current vocabulary of ‘simulation theory’. My paintings are a part of this conversation.” – Tae Lee
