About the Artwork:
“Pulling inspiration from the earth below our feet, this piece portrays the cycle of energy dispersal. Trapped in a repetitious and unending sequence, the death of one gives life to another. Detritus gives way to scavengers, giving way to hunters. Hunters become the hunted, and their bodies dissipate back into the earth. Tethered to their roles through the thirst of survival, such order promotes the wealth of life as it exists today. When one dies, one grows strong.” – Corinne Reid
