“This piece shows an alien face to face with his inner self, the true essence of being, which comes from the inside.
I like to think that we are merely using our bodies as a suitable vase for the current planet we live in, and that our true self is inside, experiencing everything. but sometimes we forget we are more than a body and we get stuck in this dimension, so we should always stay in touch with our inner self.” – Charbel Abuxapqui

Mexican surealist artist, focused on illustration and muralism.
Charbel has had several exhibitions in Mexico but also in England and USA. He has painted a large number of murals around Mexico, created ep covers and single covers for some artists, and has been invited to collaborate with different clothing brands.
Charbel has a unique kind of way to show his connection with other dimensions, through highly detailed illustrations of original characters combining grotesque and cute elements.
Charbel seeks to eliminate the extraterrestrial stigma and raises the possibility of the existence of different dimensions happening all at once, all by making the viewer connect with the moments he captures with his art.
