About the Artist:

(Artist Bio)

Anaïs Lera, is a French illustrator and muralist currently living in Vancouver, Canada. Originally from the South of France, she spent her childhood between the mountains and the ocean. As a kid with a passion for biology, she explored her surroundings with a microscope — a playful study that has profoundly shaped her artistic practice.

Her work sits at the intersection of illustration and design. She specializes in vibrant and intricate otherworldly ecosystems, toeing the border of science and fiction.

Her last illustration project was a poster designed for NASA on its exoplanet research program, “Habitable Worlds Observatory” (HWO). Anaïs’ composition for NASA explored familiar yet alien-like landscapes and imaginary planets, inviting the viewer to step inside and explore.
