About the Artwork:
In the solitude of the night, the flower blooms, not for human eyes but for the creatures that visit it in the darkness. It is a moment of beauty that fades with the first light of dawn, yet in those few precious hours, the flower and its night visitors share an intimate connection. This is the secret world of the night bloomers—where the moonlight, the fluttering of wings, and the sweetness of nectar form an unseen, yet essential, story of life.

(Artist Bio)
Grelin Machin is a Montreal based artist who mostly works with acrylics on wood. Her work revolves around happy nostalgia, evoking fond recollections of childhood where the sight of a sweet treat and the presence of a small creature were enough to fill our hearts with pure delight and amazement. Using elements such as borders, compositions and decorative ornament, she creates small windows on a surreal world where flowers, candy and small animals are the companions of this journey.
