About the Artwork:

“My artistic influences stem from the landscapes and architecture that surround me. I aim to convey the emotion of an experienced moment by fusing realistic scenery with abstract shapes, colors and structures in my paintings. Drawn by environments of heightened atmospheric ambience, boosted chroma, and hazy light and shadow, I reconstruct these ephemeral moments, attempting to create a surreal perspective of the world and the visual auras of the objects and people that exist within it.” – Eli McMullen
