This is what happens when cats vacation in Atlantis. It becomes pure, liquid curiosity. The nucleus of this piece was a vision of a dying oil rig, disturbing the seascape and bringing upheaval. The cat portrait depicts the results of this. We’re all looking forward into the future but with dread on our minds. – Franc Kaiser

Franc Kaiser is a Swiss national who resides in Shanghai, China. Franc paints pop-surrealistic motives, using acrylics and cardboard. He is inspired by both nature and technology and often shows animals in a technological, sci-fi environment. His paintings were shown in galleries in Los Angeles (Corey Helford Gallery), San Diego (Trash Lamb Gallery), Palm Springs (Musonium Gallery), and in Beijing (Yuan Museum).
