About the Artist:

(Artist Bio)

Artist Young Lim Lee currently lives in Brooklyn, NY and studies at the New York Academy of Art. She was born and grew up in Seoul, South Korea where she studied graphic design. After moving to the U.S in 2014, she earned another BFA in Painting, at the University of Georgia. “I wanted my painting to provide a strong sense of mood through color and forms rather than describing exact narrative contents. I am looking for elements that are ambiguous yet reminiscent so that viewers have space where they can imagine, like recurring dreams or poetic clues without immediately identifiable stories.”
