About the Artwork:
This painting delves into the irony that, while sharks are often seen as apex predators, it is humans who are far more destructive. The figure, encased in a playful symbolic version of both nature and human interference, underscores how our actions are wreaking havoc on the planet. It’s a visual commentary on the false sense of security we have in our ability to control nature, even as we undermine it. – JB Burke
