“ANTIQUE MIDNIGHT was inspired by Diane on fresco from Pompeii. Also in Greco-Roman mythology, [Artemis/Diane/phoebe] is the goddess of the Moon, the hunt and protector of the wilderness, Nature and animals. Lunar goddess, she reigns over the reflected world therefore on the subconscious.” – Orphné Achéron

About the Artist:

Orphné Achéron is an French illustrator inspired by Mythology, Antiquity and Mediaval era. She studied history of art and fashion design in Paris. After her studies and some professional experiences within Fashion Houses, her passion for imagery, imagination and storytelling was stronger and guided her to develop her own graphic style and her own myths and tales through illustration practice. Fascinated from a very young age by Antiquity and its divinities, her work is totally imbued with it. The vestiges from the Ancient world and all its mysteries and symbols, a legacy left by Ancestors, are her inexhaustible and authentic source of inspiration through a spiritual quest.
