Born in Kagawa, Japan, and moved to California at the age of eighteen, Yusei Abe is an illustrator, fine art printmaker, and graphic designer. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Art from California State University Long Beach specializing in illustration. His artwork is influenced by Japanese and European mythology, and fairy tales which he read in his childhood. His work is rich in detail, and favor to create his artwork in black and white. He uses very fine pen and ink as his favorite medium in the most of his artwork. Currently lives and works in Los Angeles area.
