About the Artwork:

“This artwork is the first in a series I’ve done under the title ‘Reliquary’ that are visual diary entries, using symbolic imagery to try to unleash some build-up of emotion. This first piece was a document of a frustrated time when I was grappling with a relationship that, for me, burned fast and bright. It’s my way of trying to grapple the questions it raised about my self-worth and queer love.” – Colin Verdi
