“I’ve been increasingly focused on fabricating a post apocalyptic world full of mysticism. This world is a way to meditate on our connection to nature but also think about our present through the context of the future. I bring together objects from the ancient past, consumer waste from our present, all within the context of this time that has yet to come.” – Michael Camarra

Michael Camarra was born and raised in Southern Connecticut before leaving to study at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. He now resides just North of New York City in Westchester County.

Through his work, Michael uses figures and a vibrant palette to explore his fascination with mythology and the unseen in the context of our connection to nature.
