Year of Creation: 2022
About the Artwork:
“Something I think about a lot is intestines, and so I’ve come up with this character whose face is made up of intestine-like objects. I’ve drawn her a couple of times now, and I always enjoy putting her in different fashion styles. She always ends up looking super cute no matter what kind of accessories I give her! She’s definitely a true fashionista and knows how to pull off any look. Because the structure of her face keeps slowly moving around, her teeth are also usually a little crooked, but I think that’s just part of her charm. She’s more than happy to look after you while you sleep, if you decide to adopt her!” – Likrot
About the Artist:
Likrot is a Norwegian artist, their preferred medium being watercolour. By combining the matteness of watercolour with the sparkle of glitter and shine of metallic, likrot’s paintings achieve another dimension that can only truly be experienced in real life. Always trying to see the beauty in darkness and things often considered ugly, likrot’s work often plays with contrasts, such as between creepy and cute, dark and light.
