Adriana Antonia Artmeier, originally from Germany, relocated to Melbourne, Australia in 2016. With early artistic influence from her artist grandmother, Adriana took a break from art as a teen but returned to it as an adult, initially exploring portraiture through graphite before expanding into charcoal and coloured pencils. In 2017, a close friend inspired her to take up painting.

Artmeier’s early works included portraits and landscapes, but she eventually found her niche in surrealistic themes, often dark in tone. Currently, her art centres on ocean conservation and mental health, frequently featuring creatures like sharks, eels and jellyfish.
