The creative process is often filled with unpredictable terrain, where clarity can remain elusive and intuition guides the way. Just as travellers navigate uncharted landscapes, artists move through their practice with no clear map, led instead by impulse, curiosity, and resistance. The journey is filled with moments of risk and detours that reveal unexpected insights. The embrace of unpredictability is also a necessary part of making, as it taps into the value of uncertainty, not as a limitation, but as a fertile ground where new ideas, forms, and understandings take root. Please join us this month for an exhibition brimming with works spawned from the generative tension between not knowing and becoming, emerging from expeditions along ‘Unfamiliar Paths’.
