About the Artist:

(Artist Bio)

Svetlana is a mixed media artist known for crafting surreal fantasy worlds under her project, HandmadeHome. Weaving together nature, chemistry, and fantasy, she sculpts magical beings that seem to come from hidden realms. Her sculptures capture the spirit of bizarre flora and fauna, drawing inspiration from organic forms and infusing each piece with distinct moods and personalities. Svetlana focuses primarily on mixed media sculptures, combining polymer clay with crystallization techniques. Her approach involves growing crystals directly onto her sculptures, adding a touch of magic and uniqueness to each piece.

Art has always been at the heart of Svetlana’s life. From a young age, she was surrounded by creative tools, and although she earned a degree in Interior Design in 2006, her true passion led her to fully pursue her art. Entirely self-taught in sculpture, Svetlana is a tireless experimenter and lifelong learner, constantly pushing the boundaries of her craft. Her creative journey covers working with a wide variety of mediums, including glass mosaics, polymer clay, textile sculptures, and art jewelry.

She has also enriched her skills through courses in photography, painting, and digital arts, all to better express her unique, magical vision.

Her work has gained international recognition, appearing in exhibitions and private collections around the globe.
