About the Artwork:

Nostalgia influences much of my work, drawing from media I consumed as a child. From Pokémon to Studio Ghibli to Redwall and beyond, animals as special, magical, or anthropomorphised was a common theme. As an adult learning and researching about our natural world, the animals we encounter in our daily lives are pretty special too. – Cat Parker
