About the Artwork:

“Anyone who knows me knows that I am a huge fan of Dolly Parton. She’s such an incredibly talented, kind, and giving human being. Inspired by the show’s title, I decided to depict Dolly as a cosmic deity radiating positive energy from the universe. That’s what she’s been for so many of us during these difficult times – a guiding light and an angel here on earth. The title I chose for this painting is a 1973 song she wrote and performed with Porter Wagoner. The hopeful tone of the lyrics seemed like a perfect fit.” – Johannah O’Donnell
