David Ball is a San Francisco based artist producing expressive, surreal mixed-media work. He begins each piece with an abstract base that serves as a sort of self-produced, self-induced Rorschach test. Surrounding the work with pieces of collage material of the correct palette, he organically builds up the work alternating between layers of collage, acrylic, and colored pencil.
