“With this illustration, I wanted to embody that feeling in my chest when I’m able to sift through the noise and listen to my heart, my inner-voice, and my spirit. The older I become, the more I realize how much of a skill, listening to yourself, is. But it is within these moments of clarity, that I am able to begin, not only hearing, but trusting that voice from within.” – Jamie Wells

Jamie Wells is an artist from Houston, Texas – now based in Southern California. Her work explores the connection of our mind to our vessels and the transformations we go through at different chapters of our lives. She uses a wide span of mediums to create her dark surreal pieces. Her work has appeared at DesignerCon, Monsterpalooza, and TwitchCon.
