“When I think of the sky, I think of the vast night skies covered with stars, that sometimes make me feel small and lost in thoughts, which creates a sleepless mind. At the same time I sometimes have a fantasy of the night sky as a mirror that reflects our worries and hopes.” – Daria Hlazatova

Daria Hlazatova is an artist and illustrator based in Ukraine, whose passion lies in drawing and creating handmade collages. Besides this, Daria is a confident traveller, an avid music and theatre lover, a mediocre tambourine and ukulele player and an excellent in- an outdoor dancer. As a child Daria dreamt to become an oceanologist, but having one marine diver in the family and a dozen artists, her art genes won over. However, she still cherishes hope to become a rock star.
Daria’s drawings are inspired by fairy-tales, nature, dreams and nonsense. Daria’s work has appeared in numerous publications and on album covers.
