Themes of music, Americana, pop-culture, monsters, magic and bits of Southern Gothic are recurring concepts in Tim Lee’s work. He enjoys creating these images on a variety of surfaces, including, wood, paper, canvas, and screen prints. Traditional media is currently Tim’s focus, but digital paintings are also a part of his portfolio. Lee lives in Raleigh, North Carolina and received his BFA from the Columbus College of Art & Design. He is currently exhibiting at galleries in the U.S. and internationally. Alongside his visual art, he also exercises his creativity by playing the mandolin in an area bluegrass band called, The Hey Brothers.
