This piece is about the quiet pull of what is slipping away. I wanted to capture that moment when presence turns into memory, and absence begins to take shape. – Dasha Pliska

About the Artist:

(Artist Bio)

Dasha Pliska was born in Odessa, Ukraine, and is currently living and working in Japan. In 2013 she graduated from the Odessa International University of Humanities in Graphic Design. Her hometown has largely shaped her world with its rich cultural heritage and fascinating architecture. Inspired mostly by nature and her surroundings, Dasha uses pencil and ink in a graphic style to not only create art that can change the way we feel about an idea, but to suffuse a culture with ideological disorder, and to shift the human heart.
