About the Artwork:
Blue Bunny stalks through a dark forest, hunting for carrots. He stands upright, grasps an offshoot, and pulls. His labor allows him time to contemplate big ideas such as aesthetics, philosophy, and dreams. He is mostly content and is fully autonomous, but something deep inside him longs for companionship and community. Blue Bunny sighs as the carrot resists him. Now the shoot feels cold and slippery in his hands. His watch piece, laying forgotten on the forest floor, will not help him in his inertness.

Connor Nguyen was born and raised in Hawai’i. After studying at the Rhode Island School of Design, he moved to Los Angeles to live and work. Here he spends his days drawing and painting, and you can always find him with a sketchbook in hand.
