Jennifer Nguyen is a self-taught illustrator currently working out of Los Angeles, California. Her work consists largely of anthropomorphic creatures with ambiguous expressions, posed into absurd postures, and all drawn with scratchy outlines and touched by plumes of hazy color. They are images of small lives sprung from larger, unspoken dreams. She favors ink and watercolor pencil.
