Lisa was born in Japan, raised in California and currently is a freelance illustrator / translator based in Los Angeles. Graduated from Orange County Schools of the Arts, Shonan Art Academy, and with BFA from ArtCenter College of Design. She has received awards such as Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, and Creative Quarterly. Her life circles around Japanese comics & anime, rabbits motifs, sweet potatoes, peonies and amethyst.
