Martyna Damięcka is a Warsaw-based artist and illustrator drawing mainly with colored pencils which give a sense of nostalgia and allow her to create dreamlike, oneiric images composed of metaphors and symbols. Symmetry is a tool to evoke an impression of something sacred, mystical.
Martyna finds inspiration in nature, folklore, religious imagery, dreams and strange depictions from medieval manuscripts.
