About the Artist:
(Artist Bio)
L. K. Smith (Laura) is an artist residing in a small rural town in the North Island of New Zealand. Inspired by the nature that surrounds her, as well as that of far-off places and bygone eras, her works are a reflection of her undying love for the natural world.
Influenced by the artists of the Romantic era, her works focus on emotions, imagination and individuality, and their parallels to the wonders and might of the natural world. Her works often explore the themes of serendipity, the surreal, and the significance of simple moments.
With this, Laura aims to create works that celebrate nature and evoke an emotional connection to the natural world.
