About the Artwork:

“This painting is part of a series about my recovery from retinal detachment surgery. The title of the show, Uncertainties, is definitely something I can relate to. While I am still uncertain about the future of my eyesight, being able to complete a detailed painting at this scale is a positive step forward for me!” – Johannah O’Donnell
