About the Artwork:

“WHAT LIES AHEAD is an exploration on the feelings of anxiety and being overwhelmed with the future.

After a certain point, dreams of a shiny, fun-filled future get replaced by worries about not being successful, running out of time and not finding comfort in places that we used to.

The original spark that kept us going when we were younger starts dimming.

The subject matter is depicted with a solemn expression, a point before breaking. She is graced with so much potential for growth but she cannot look past her worries and cannot see clouds with silver linings behind her.” – Eunpyon

About the Artist:

(Artist Bio)

Eunpyon, AKA Eunice Cruzabra, is a Filipina contemporary illustrator and concept artist for games and animation. Eunice grew up immersed in late 1990s and 2000s culture as well as both western and eastern forms of paintings and animation.

These influences made their way into her illustrations, manifesting themselves as props or jewellery that adorn her subjects. Her illustrations combine the stylization of japanese animated shows and comics, as well as the rendering of western painting.

Eunice continues to illustrate from Makati, Philippines.
