About the Artwork:
Letting go is never easy—whether it’s a person, a place, or something dear. It leaves a void, a sense of being lost, because you leaned on it to feel complete. But with time, wounds begin to heal, and tears nourish the soul. Eventually, just like a flower, self-love, respect and faithfulness grows from within
Forget-me-nots symbolize true love and respect, and are often given as a token to signify faithfulness and enduring love.
I want this piece to remind us to be kind and gentle with ourselves, nurturing self-love and respect as we all grow and heal. – Masae Seki
