About the Artwork:
I take my one year old daughter to daycare every morning around the time the sun rises. For around two months nearly every day I would see a beautiful fox calmly jogging up the road on the sidewalk on our way to the daycare. It felt nice that my own daily routine was timed perfectly with this awesome fox that was going about their own daily routine at the same time. One morning as I kept an eye out to hopefully catch a glimpse of my fox friend I saw them, this time instead of gleefully prancing up the street my friend was now motionless in the middle of the road and it was not pretty. The feeling of devastation that I had that day made me NEED to memorialize this creature that never knew I existed, but I knew they did. – Jeff Kristian
