WOW x WOW Gallery proudly presents The Everything Hum. Opening on wowxwow.com at 7pm BST on 4th October and running until 25th October, the exhibition will feature over 60 incredible original artworks by more than 50 super talented international artists.
We live in an age where the world and virtually everything in it is persistently vying for our attention. The abundance of people, screens, texts, and all other constants in our daily lives may sound like a never-ending source of inspiration and the answer to all of an artist’s prayers. However, the sheer profusion of stimuli can easily become overwhelming, leading to over stimulation, which may actually hinder creativity. Spurious noise can also quickly mask those elements of our existence that we might connect with on deeper levels. It takes discipline and focus to cut through the never-ending feed of sights and sounds and zero in on what truly fires up our imaginations. We must prioritise our own thoughts, tune into our own frequencies and emotions, and listen out for those most inspiring signals from within ‘The Everything Hum’.
