About the Artist:
I was born in Seattle, Washington on September 14, 1976. My family moved to Price, Utah when I was 8 years old and that’s when I really started drawing and using my imagination for my art. I was an artistic rebel in my school art classes, the teachers would look at my drawings with a raised eyebrow or implore me to draw something not so weird. Seeing those kind of reactions was entertaining to me but I liked what I was doing artistically and for me that has always been what mattered most. I started oil painting in 2000, learning by practicing in my spare time. I really enjoy the whole process of painting from building on an idea to finishing a painting. I have participated in gallery shows since 2004 in Utah, California, New York, Nevada, and Australia. I have done album artwork for bands in United States, Australia, Italy and Denmark.
