About the Artwork:
“Angels are known to be messengers of the Divine. Some may be concealed in the darkness, where we don’t want to look; but even there, divinity hides. In the darkness, an angel may wait patiently, carrying God’s fire in their eyes.
I’ve been working with the concept of angels, birds and winged beings, as an expression of my spirituality. Flying and communicating with birds are significantly present elements in my dreams.
I’ve been doing mostly digital art for so long, and now I feel the urge to explore traditional media and work with materials I can touch and feel; this painting is part of this journey.” – Caroline Jamhour
