WOW x WOW Gallery proudly presents The Becoming. Opening on wowxwow.com at 7pm GMT on 8th March and running until 29th March, the exhibition will feature over 90 incredible original artworks by more than 70 super talented international artists.
Many artists who turn professional and bulid a career from their creations, often talk of feeling that becoming an artist was their life’s calling; the one true path to providing them with meaning and fulfillment. This choosen route is far from straight ahead and is filled with with many challenging hurdles to overcome. The call to be an artist is so outside of the expected norms of our society, which makes navigating the terrain all the more trecherous. Advice may be provided by those professional artists who have made their choosen career work for them, however, no one can perfectly advise on the optimal direction every budding artist should take to guarantee success. Instead, this is something each individual needs to figure out for themselves, through a combination of intuition, education, and experience. And, nothing can truly prepare for the joyous triumphs and harrowing tribulations experienced on the road to ‘The Becoming’.
